چکیده
Objective: Transthoracic needle biopsy is a diagnostic method that has proven its reliability in lung nodules and frequently applied daily practice. The accuracy of biopsies performed with computed tomography navigation quite high, even if the lesion sizes are smaller than 1 cm. We aimed to evaluate complications tomography-guided percutaneous transthoracic procedure our center.
Material Methods: Patients who underwent guided pulmonary nodule between January 2017 2020 were included study. size anatomic location lesions, distance pleura lesion, angle pleura, time, number pathologic samples taken per patient, total radiation dose, complications, pathological results lesions analyzed from patients’ images records.
Results: Among 161 patients admitted for procedure, 135 male (mean age 64.3±11.1 years) 26 females 61.3±15.4 years). evaluation 32 reported as non-diagnostic. was calculated 80.1%. Major occurred 10 (6.2%), minor 60 (37.2%). rate requiring chest tube insertion 4.9%. mean effective dose 5.26±3.25 mSv.
Conclusion: Computed high rate, low can be preferred all appropriate nodules.

To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of computed tomography (CT)-guided percutaneous lung biopsy for solitary pulmonary nodules. Three hundred and eleven patients (211 males and 100 females), with a mean age of 59.6 years (range, 19-87 years), who were diagnosed with solitary pulmonary nodules and underwent CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy between January 2008 and January 2014 ...
متن کاملCoaxial technique-promoted diagnostic accuracy of CT-guided percutaneous cutting needle biopsy for small and deep lung lesions
Coaxial technique is extensively applied to facilitate percutaneous lung lesion biopsy. However, the impact of coaxial technique on diagnostic accuracy remains undecided. We reviewed 485 patients who underwent percutaneous CT-guided needle biopsies of lung lesions in our hospital. All of these biopsies were performed using either a cutting needle alone (n = 268) or a cutting needle combined wit...
متن کاملClinical application of CT and CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy in patients with indeterminate pulmonary nodules*
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical application of CT and CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy (CT-PTNB) in patients with indeterminate pulmonary nodules (IPNs). METHODS We retrospectively studied 113 patients with PNs undergoing CT and CT-PTNB. Variables such as gender, age at diagnosis, smoking status, CT findings, and CT-PTNB techniques were analyzed. Data analysis was perf...

BACKGROUND A systematic review and meta-analysis of all available publications was performed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy (PTNB) using a C-Arm Cone-Beam CT (CBCT) system in patients with lung nodules. MATERIAL/METHODS Thedatabases of PUBMED, OVID, EBSCO, EMBASE, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) were systematically searched f...
